Dr. Matt Jackson uses improvement science to advance equity in statistics education, with a focus on the intersection of race and gender. His research explores how men of color perceive STEM fields and pedagogical strategies that support their goals.

Contributor to The “Better Book” Approach to Addressing Equity in Statistics: Centering the Motivational Experiences of Students from Racially Marginalized Backgrounds for Widespread Benefit (published in Education Sciences in 2024).
