Adam Blake

Adam Blake is a cognitive psychologist and educational technologist focused on building tools that help students learn better and instructors teach smarter. At CourseKata, he leads the development of data-informed, user-friendly platforms designed to support learning in complex domains—especially statistics and data science for novices. With a research background in metacognition and student learning strategies, Adam bridges psychology and technology to create tools that are grounded in learning science and optimized for real-world classrooms.

Before joining CourseKata, Adam earned his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology at UCLA, where he studied how students make judgments about their own learning and how these judgments impact outcomes. His work continues to shape CourseKata’s learner-centered design, adaptive feedback systems, and research-backed assessment tools.
